Morning all.

An EMR 222 just passed me at burton on Trent and has gone in to Barton central rivers depot. Anyone know why?

Thanks in advance.

This? Possible maintenance as the 222 and 221/220 do share some common parts. Probably a bit like taking your Skoda into a VW dealer/specialist.

Yeah, that’s the one, sorry I should have included the headcode really.

Maintenance seems like the most likely answer. Thanks for the reply

As per the other replies. Etches Park sends some units to Central Rivers now and again.

Does make sense being so close I guess. I very rarely get back to burton these days, so an EMR unit passing through was certainly a shock. Thought I’d missed some important news until I checked the headcode. Thanks again for the reply.
