This regards the 'integral' (all ADL) pre MMC Enviro 200 bus (2007-2018). I understand they were offered with two Cummins engines, 4.5l four-cylinder and 6.7l six-cylinder.

Now, are details, inside or out, to indicate which engine is fitted to any given bus?

From memory the 6 cylinder versions (which were not as common) had few inches longer bodywork at the rear, to accommodate bigger engine. You can see a slightly longer blank panel behind the rearmost side window.

Any pictures?

Was the longest E200, with the 6-cylinder engine, still shorter than the shortest E300 (which was only available with the 6-cylinder as far as I know)? Otherwise why would anyone buy the (presumably more expensive) E300?

Attached shows East Yorkshire's 376, YX63 LLO (4 cylinder) and High Peak's 527, YX65 RGO (6 cylinder)

The backend of the High Peak one is slightly longer.

My pictures btw :)
Oh how I long for better spec E200s like those around here, not the bog standard cheapo spec Stagecoach went for (the ex Ayrshire ones seem to now be the worst, along with the GX58 batch!).

"Classic' Enviro 200s with a production run from late 2006 through to 2018 (some of the '18 reg vehicles may have been built earlier?) have, not surprisingly many differences in internal decor/paneling/exits/seating etc, some of these of course are down to the preferred specifications of individual operators.
Also size/length - as far as I am aware 8.9m, 9.7m, 10.2m 10.8m and even a few 11+m.

The longest E200 and the shortest E300 are both 11.8 metres long according to Wikipedia.
The E300 was intended to be a full-size single-decker bus as opposed to the E200 being classed as a midibus, but the former got canned in 2015 when the E200MMC was introduced.
