Eurostar question.

Apologies if this has been asked before,I guess everything has in the past,anyhow my question - I wish to travel to Paris via Eurostar and understand that they do "cheap" fares from provincial stations,however they don't do them from Long Eaton only Loughborough,is there any reason why I cannot buy the ticket from Loughborough to Paris but join the train at Long Eaton having bought a Long Eaton to Loughborough period return and just stay on the train?,I can't see any reason why but there could be a really obvious reason why I can't,any advice appreciated.
