Fares Between Peterborough and Berwick upon Tweed

Could someone please explain why there is a vast increase in fares between Peterborough and Berwick upon Tweed. if i booked a ticket on the 14th Feb 2012 with a senior rail card it would be £11-90 single but on the 20th Mar 2012 it as jumped to £73.25 single a increase of £61.35 can any one explain please

The Advance fares for that route haven't been released yet (they are currently available up to 18 March). They will probably be released within the next week. Don't buy tickets yet as the prices you currently see are those which are available on the day, so you will never pay more than them.
