I've been trying to book a sailing with my FIP with Stena. It seems to me as if Stena are attempting to disuade people from using the FIP pass. I've called 4 times now, every time there's been a different reason why I couldn't book. The last one was that I had to have been a member of staff from before 1985.

Well seeing as you can't use FIP on Stena Irish sailings, I'm assuming you are trying to go to Holland?

Since when have FIP's not been allowed on Belfast/Cairnryan crossings?

Forever!

ATOC PRIV holders get free travel subject to port tax, but Stena Line Ireland are not part of the FIP arrangements (they aren't listed on the rear of the FIP card).
They have never opted in.

Stena Line BV are listed on the back of the card, but that is for Dutch sailings.
