Fire at Rugby

According to the National Rail website and my son who is a passenger on a Virgin Train stranded at Nuneaton, there is an "incident" (a fire?) at Rugby station and all Virgin trains to and from Euston are suspended. Does anyone have any more information? My son is travelling from Stockport to Burnham (Bucks) so i have recommended that he gives up for tonight and looks out for a northbound train to return to Stockport and travels tomorrow. Does anyone in the know have a better suggestion?

It's next door to the Stagecoach depot according to the LM twitter site but because of the threat of gas cannisters nearby, all trains suspended.

The line has since reopened but major backlog of trains
