I’m considering a first class upgrade on Seatfrog tomorrow. 11.45 Exeter St David’s to Paddington. Is there food and drink included? The GWR website isn’t clear. Thanks.

Tea/coffee/water, limited soft drink and small snackbox (pretzels, biscuits, cracker and a small pot of salsa, hummus etc).

Staffing is variable at the moment, so hit and miss whether there will be a host to actually provide even this, although you should get a hot drink at least.

It's £25.00 to upgrade onboard (subject to space, and these services are busy, especially at the moment in the holidays). The advantage of Seatfrog is that it does guarantee a seat, however.

You did well to get that! :p

I have always just had hot/cold drinks, and maybe some biscuits. Never had a snackbox before!

I got a snack box last Saturday, and was only on the train between London and Reading!

Minimal, basic drinks and unhealthy snacks only. And subject to availability.

I would upgrade if you want the ambience, but if it's catering you want, you'd be better off buying supplies before boarding.
