Last time I did the sleeper into Paddington, we arrived at approximately 0506. Was straight off to Kings Cross (had to wait some time for a Tube mind), so didn't see when it shunted out but by 0745 it gets very busy so I'd be surprised if it hung around until after 0730.

The 0430 from Bridgend, that'll be the 0400 Swansea to London Paddington and should arrive into London Paddington at 0732.

Good luck seeing the sleeper.

According to Table 406 of the current timetable, even though it is due in to Paddington at about 0540 the sleepers don't have to be vacated until 0730. Wonder what happens if it is cleared before that, does it still wait until after 0730?

Booked to depart from PAD-OOC at 07+51 as 5A40, train loco dead in rear. Shunt loco booked from OOC to PAD to arrive approx 15 mins after train has arrived at Paddington.

As it is a class 5, if train is empty and staff/paths are available then there is no reason why this should wait time, particularly if it frees up a platform for the morning rush hour.....

Give about 15 mins for the Berth Attendants to get sorted after the vacate time then it'll move out.
