Uni E400 33421 on T1/T2 duties today, seen on the 14:20 T2 service from Truro to St Ives
Also saw the new improved bus station layout, must say very impressed!
Does seem odd. Truronian used a Primo on St Mawes and I’ve been on a standard Solo M850 through Portloe with no alarms!
New improved bus station layout? Where are you referring to?
Yes, it's an internal upgrade of the waiting room rather than a change to the bus station layout. That’ll be the one in Truro. It was posted on First Kernow’s Facebook page today (Thursday 19th)
And that's substantially larger than the slimline Solo that was tested.I took a trip to Portloe last month in Dart 42559 and it managed the lanes okay.
The layout has changed with the seating along the walls instead of being in the center, the refurbishment or upgrade or what ever you want to call it is pretty obvious. The main point I was trying to convey is how smart it looks not being pickey on how I worded itYes, it's an internal upgrade of the waiting room rather than a change to the bus station layout.
Sorry, I didn't intend it as criticism. I was just clarifying that it was a welcome internal internal upgrade rather than a change to the bus bays. The layout has changed with the seating along the walls instead of being in the center, the refurbishment or upgrade or what ever you want to call it is pretty obvious. It was probably my imagination, but one of the Tridents on the A17 today appeared (and I was driving in the opposite direction, so little time) to have a printed blind. Is this possible?
No worries mate, just pointing out the change in the way seating is laid out in the waiting room, the bus bays have obviously stayed the same with a bit of TLC.Sorry, I didn't intend it as criticism. They're old enough to stay out late without having to show ID!I didn't realise Kernow Tridents were allowed out this late but just enjoyed Barbie 33171 on the 22.30 A2 from St Ives, the many passengers including a hen party! Shame about the desolation of The Malakoff though with warning notice on the office door 'do not enter.' At least there was a timetable and route details affixed to the window.
Indeed. The A17 should be a mix of Tridents and Scanias, all in Atlantic Coasters livery, but I've never seen a full house!Atlantic Coaster closed-top HIG 1527 on the A17 today shouldn't be worthy of comment except for the fact that the correct buses are so rarely seen!
I also saw 65759 working the T1 this afternoon near Penzance. Also it's worked on the A2 from St Ives at least two evenings this week.Uni E400MMC 33474 on a westbound T2 service and Atlantic Coaster Scania 65759 on a eastbound T1 service both seen at Camborne this afternoon. Dart 43861 departed from Camborne with a local driver on board.
May have been going to Penzance for further storage.
Perhaps that was on the Fal River service; that is where they stop for a whileA Trident in the last Barbie livery was making a nuisance of itself this afternoon, stuck with hazards on on the bridge in Truro outside Radio Cornwall. About two hours later, when I returned to the area it or a lookalike was parked in the coach area to the side of M&S, opposite Iceland.
It could have been: I wasn't aware of the situation.Perhaps that was on the Fal River service; that is where they stop for a while
Also in the yard was trainer 30878 which was carrying registration L10PCV.
I wonder if this is an additional training vehicle or a replacement for one of the original three? 30880 appears to have been re-registered to L12PCV but visual confirmation would be appreciated please.
