Uni E400 33421 on T1/T2 duties today, seen on the 14:20 T2 service from Truro to St Ives
Also saw the new improved bus station layout, must say very impressed!

New improved bus station layout? Where are you referring to?

Yes, it's an internal upgrade of the waiting room rather than a change to the bus station layout.
The layout has changed with the seating along the walls instead of being in the center, the refurbishment or upgrade or what ever you want to call it is pretty obvious. The main point I was trying to convey is how smart it looks not being pickey on how I worded it

Sorry, I didn't intend it as criticism. I was just clarifying that it was a welcome internal internal upgrade rather than a change to the bus bays.

It was probably my imagination, but one of the Tridents on the A17 today appeared (and I was driving in the opposite direction, so little time) to have a printed blind. Is this possible?

The only A17 single decker had a printed number in the window and no destination blind! There was also a Tinner on it!

No worries mate, just pointing out the change in the way seating is laid out in the waiting room, the bus bays have obviously stayed the same with a bit of TLC.
Did see Atlantic Coaster 'A5' Trident 33177 was on the 15:35 T1 service from Truro to Penzance and saw a barbie liveried Trident arrive on another T1 service

Only because I was there to see it would I have known about it, but this p.m. a Trident on the A17 terminated short at St Erth from the Penzance direction: it arrived showing a Pendeen destination, presumably ready for its return. No-one got off, and two minutes later a Uni-liveried bus to St Ives appeared, followed a moment later by an A2 to the same destination. I wonder whether St Erth is capable of being shown on the front?

I didn't realise Kernow Tridents were allowed out this late but just enjoyed Barbie 33171 on the 22.30 A2 from St Ives, the many passengers including a hen party! Shame about the desolation of The Malakoff though with warning notice on the office door 'do not enter.' At least there was a timetable and route details affixed to the window.

They're old enough to stay out late without having to show ID!

Atlantic Coaster closed-top HIG 1527 on the A17 today shouldn't be worthy of comment except for the fact that the correct buses are so rarely seen!

Indeed. The A17 should be a mix of Tridents and Scanias, all in Atlantic Coasters livery, but I've never seen a full house!

Long Rock Penzance Depot today.
In the withdrawn/in store compound 20357/63, 20801/2/3/4/5, 30871/2/3/5/7, 42430 seat store, 43854/5/6/7/9/60/2/3/4/6/7/8/9/70/4 plus three others I was unable to identify, 62238 (definitely fitted with an instructor's seat) plus W899VLN (32930) the 'Cornish Embassy' and W813PAF (53013) the Man Engine bus. Also in the yard was trainer 30878 which was carrying registration L10PCV.
I make that 18 Caetanos at Penzance and 83G/84D reported above seeing 43861 leaving Camborne possibly heading to Penzance for storage.

Tridents seen around Penzance today were 32756 and 33052 (unable to see what they were working) 33001 33148 (paper sticker A17) 33236 working A17 and 33171 in the bus station (spare?).
Volvo 32027 on A1

I also saw 65759 working the T1 this afternoon near Penzance. Also it's worked on the A2 from St Ives at least two evenings this week.

A Trident in the last Barbie livery was making a nuisance of itself this afternoon, stuck with hazards on on the bridge in Truro outside Radio Cornwall. About two hours later, when I returned to the area it or a lookalike was parked in the coach area to the side of M&S, opposite Iceland.

Perhaps that was on the Fal River service; that is where they stop for a while

Dart 42872 at Camborne bus station about an hour ago displaying ‘T1 Truro’. It’s either left over from yesterday or working Tinner services today.

Also in the yard was trainer 30878 which was carrying registration L10PCV.

I wonder if this is an additional training vehicle or a replacement for one of the original three? 30880 appears to have been re-registered to L12PCV but visual confirmation would be appreciated please.

I'm on the case!

@Blackpudding There is a photo of 30880 on flickr.

@Whiteway215 Those coaches you first mentioned are all waiting in a queue for an extensive refurbishment, 20358 is at Camborne for some reason, really it should be with the others at Penzance.

62238 is pending sales

32930 & 53013 are both for the MAN engine, though 32930 is owned by the Cornish Embassy.

Sooner or later the last few nimbuses bar 42358 should all be up in Penzance in storage awaiting transfer

and is 30878 really a trainer? It says on the official website that 30875, 30879, & 30880 are the only trainers being made out of the ALX400s. Though I can confirm the registration of 30878 is now L10PCV.
