Like the feral pigeons do on the London Underground. Often they board at one station and get off a while later undeterred by all the people.
The funny thing is I don't think it's by chance. I think they know exactly what they're doing!

The council said some operators may charge and remember dogs costing 50p, so if it wasn't Kernow it was obviously someone else
FK used to charge for dogs. One chap used to bring on 3 for his trip to town. Cost him more for the dogs than his fare.
Most drivers charged him for one or no dogs!
There again, (later edit) I seem to recall it was initially £1 per dog. That was reduced to 50p, then made free.
Hopefully someone will correct me

Thought I remember seeing it advertised on a bus somewhere, until now I've only ever travelled with FK and WG so thought it must of been one of them but couldn't remember who so couldn't really dispute what everyone else was saying, so thanks for clarifying

Good job he had lenient drivers, could of been a costly trip otherwise!

Stagecoach charge for dogs. Can’t think of anyone else I’ve noticed it
I'm guessing if they aren't taking up any seats, you can't charge them as a passenger, same sort of thing for children under 5

Does that mean if I get on a bus and there's standing room only, I get my fare refunded? ;)

A few more snaps from my day at work. I will try and keep ticking over some photos from work, for those who can’t go out to get some kind of daily fix on what’s been where.
First time I’ve taken an optare to fowey. Must be honest I much prefer the Enviro... the wheels are in the right place, having rarely driven Solos they take some adaption from jumping from other model buses

While it gives the impression of only being fit for turning into bean cans I assume it is the one that is (was?) going to be the 4th Solo going into Mousehole livery.

So what tridents does that leave?
The lizard / kernow branded east lances apart from 32755 unfortunately
The pride presidents and the two double door presidents as well as the vamooz ones and a few Atlantic coasters

I thought that was going to be 53701 LK05 DYO.
Don't know, but that's already in Kernow livery hence why I thought 53701.

I'm a bit surprised all eight short slimlines are being retained. I know that they're not the most reliable of buses but that's a huge spares allowance for the M6. :D

32755 was the last old style Lolyne, but believe it's been a bit of a pup.

I'm quite grateful that somebody within the company (and thank you if you read this forum) is willing to put the time into sending out the updates, especially so at the present time.
