Can somebody shed light how these services work from a crew perspective?
Would i be right in thinking that there will only be a small number of drivers / conductors at each location, outside Glasgow? Do they have managers at these locations or is it all a satellite of Glasgow?
Some of these services seem to join up at Crianlarich, once joined up, who drives the train forward and what does the other crew do?
Are the trains cleaned and fuelled at each location or only in Glasgow? What would be a typical service pattern for the crews on these services? Thanks.

Mallaig or Fort William based crew only work as far south as Crianlarich.
Oban crew work all the way to Glasgow.
Glasgow crew work all the way to Oban.

Depending on the particular service the Glasgow & Oban crew will swap en-route and head back to their respective home depots or work all the way to the "other end".
West Highland based Drivers have one Driver Team Manager.

Trains are cleaned and all terminal points overnight but fuel is in Glasgow.

Sometimes the Oban and Glasgow crews swap at Ardlui. The Mallaig crew gets a PNB at Crianlarich while the combined train goes to Ardlui.
