Free Car Parking near Tramlink from Beckenham Junction

We will be travelling towards Croydon from Beckenham on Thursday and want to park the car on a road within a ten minute walk of a tramlink station where there is no charge or restriction between midday and 6pm. I think this is achievable as a lot of residential areas in SE London have restrictions 10-11 am or 11 am -12 noon to prevent all day commuter parking.

Does anyone with local knowledge have any suggestions? Ideally as close to Beckenham Junction as possible.

I recall that the road I used to live on, Copers Cope Road (that runs between Beckenham Junction and New Beckenham stations), has many bays that only operate between 0800 and 0930 each day, and are free for the rest of the day after this.
