Hi

I applied earlier for the Trainee driver positions at Eastleigh. I found the online application process really troublesome, very slow, kept reloading and when I got the email confirming receipt of my application, a lot of the information I input was lost or jumbled.

I did email them to let them know but should I just assume now that my application will stand out like a sore thumb and look like it has been completed by the village idiot, or are problems with their site quite common?

Thanks

DB

There have a lot of issues with their website, there was a thread on here with people saying that they had problems.

If your CV was uploaded (it will say in the email) then I wouldn't worry too much.

Hey

I went through the process online and found I had to keep going back and forward to get everything done and ended up applying twice by mistake. The website has had issues and took about an hour to do in the end

Thanks for the info.

Who else has applied?

Wondering whether to try a second time to see if I can manage a better attempt second time around?

What I did was fill in one entry then if you have more to fill in then go to next page then go back and it gave me another box to fill in. You may have to go back and forth a few times as sometimes it has issues loading a page. I think this is to see if you will crack under pressure lol
Good luck!

I did exactly this. Took me a while and was really frustrating. The confirmation email came through and it revised the last entry for each section only. only Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhh. That was the second application I had done and I also emailed them to ask if there was any other way or whether my application would be accepted. But alas, I had no reply.

I have a feeling it is a total mess from their end too and there are heads buried in sand. I am just hoping that my cv gets looked at and the online application is used only for contact details.

I've noticed fl have had problems with their website for about a year now, their careers page takes ages to load up, my application was very slow loading and I think I missed a page and couldn't go back to add info. Sometimes when I log onto their website it doesn't even load.

Hi again

Well, applications closed yesterday and it has disappeared off their website. How long is it likely to be before applicants have any contact? Can see it being a long process especially with Christmas and New Year looming!

It's all part of the test. The whole process is timed and response recorded as part of the vetting procedure. That's why there is no other way to apply.:D

Don't think this is right somehow. The issue wasn't the time taken to complete the form, it's the time it was taking pages to load and the fact that a load of the information people put in was then lost!

Anyone confirm?

Yeah I had same problems. Can't even load the website through my internet at home (virgin media) so have to route it through my phones internet connection just to be able to load the page.

Had trouble entering info in to the qualifications / education sections with entries disappearing / multiplying etc. Ended up having to just rely on the attached CV.
