So this has just appeared on my Facebook feed.
It shows 70020 in an Orange and Black livery presumably at Crewe VMF. (Credit was not given)

Looks a bit like a Lego engine. It's not great when a livery probably looks better when dirty...

I suspect the change of logo is because Freightliner has been split off as a separate entity from the Genesee & Wyoming business, albeit with the same owners/shareholders.

Looks good, though I don't get why they've just used black text for Freightliner rather than the logo on the actual body

Have Genessee & Wyoming relaxed their corporate logo policy? They made one change with the takeover of Freightliner - it didn't get a 'X&Y' type rebrand. Is this another step?

Freightliner is now a separate entity from Genesee & Wyoming.

It would look soooooo much better if the bottom black stripe extended all the way down to the bottom.

Genessee & Wyoming and Freightliner are two separate entities now. They have split, albeit still both owned by Brookfield Infratsructure.

Never thought a 70 could look anything but Fugly. But this ain't at all bad. It's a yes from me, be nice if all the fleet could get this treatment not that garish orange Freightliner have plumped for.

I get why the Genesee & Wyoming orange scheme was adopted of course, but I think it’s a shame this mix of existing colours applied in corporate style wasn’t what they went for. I think it looks a lot smarter!

I do wonder if they'll consider this, as it seems to be a 'interesting' hybrid of the G&W and Powerhaul style liveries with the Green & Yellow.
