Hi,

I'm moving from the US and was wondering if I can buy a 16-25 railcard online using my US passport (not UK). I'll be a full-time international student. Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing not - the best idea is to use your US Passport to buy one at a station ASAP after you arrive

There are several advantages to buying online.

If you are 16-25, you should be able to get one online, the system does seem to allow non-uk passports. You will need to have a uk address.

If you are over 25, then no, you will have to go to a station (possibly after having your form stamped by your university).

In which case, if it's a degree course you're doing, it might be worth getting a Natwest student account (if they'll let you have one) and taking the free railcard that comes with it.
