Hi all,

Quite a few extra workings for the 2013 Glastonbury Festival. The 2Z97 from Great Malvern would be a revision of 2F97 (0850 Great Malvern - Westbury) but there are plenty of dead workings. I make it 20 extra trains in all.

OTT for Castle Cary, 27th June 2013:

One interesting aspect here is that nearly all of the HST services arriving from Bristol Temple Meads are then heading back that way by going down to Taunton and then reversing direction to head back to Bristol TM via. Bridgwater.

Quite a few of the extras from Paddington are Turbos this year rather than HSTs.

Good that FGW are doing this, I remember seeing extra FGW trains at Great Malvern after the Big Chill (at Eastnor) in 2009. There were free shuttle buses between the station and the festival front gate.

Large music festivals often encourage people not to drive (to reduce congestion and land required for parking), so it's helpful when TOCs can assist to take the strain.
