Hi all, sorry if this has covered but I did have a search.
I have been lucky enough to be offered a role as a trainiee grade 2 signaller. My only main worry is the box location. I have been told I will need to apply for a box after signallers school but this does this mean you are not guaranteed a position and that position could be up to 50 minutes away from your address?
It seems a great opportunity but the thought of a possible 12 hour shift and 100min travel time a day seems a little daunting daunting.
I guess I'm asking as anyone recently been through the process and how did It work out?
Thank you
