Both the Great Electric Trains show at Milton Keynes and Warley at Statfold clashed this weekend.

Logistics and finances meant I had to pick one. I've been intending going to the Milton Keynes one for years, so opted for that. It was excellent.

GRE show was a good venue, great transport to and from the station, plenty in quantity and variety of layouts and traders. I'll definitely go back.

Did anybody go to Warley at Statfold? How was it? Is it a good, easy venue and was there plenty to see?

Anybody go to both? I just wondered how they compared.

Thanks.

Didn't get to either this year, but attended the final NEC version of Warley last year. Not much to add unfortunately, but this thread needs some love! If I'd planned ahead I could have diverted from my drive between Taunton and Yorkshire, and visited one of them.
