Saw this on 802006 at Newton Abbot. Any reasons why this sits alongside?

It's something to do with* Horace "Harry" Billinge, after whom the vehicle is named.

Thank you for that nugget of info. I've done a quick goggle and it relates to the number of service men killed on DDay that he raised all the money for the memorial. Once again thanks for the help

Mr Billinge dedicated his MBE award to the 22442 service personnel killed on D Day and during the Battle for Normandy
