A couple of questions after a shopping trip at the weekend:

1) Is the 1967 Stock cab in Hamley's in Regent Street a genuine example or a replica?

2) If it is a genuine one, does anyone know which one it is?

It is genuine; however it is a 1972 Mk. I cab rather than a 1967 stock cab. It's ex-Northern line rather than ex-Bakerloo or ex-Victoria as suggested by publicity.

DM 3214. Hamley's are also believed to have acquired DM 3314 for a similar use in their Dubai store.

A store on that side of Regent Street (don't know which one) once had a double-decker bus in it. It was a 13 bus bound for London Bridge and the photograph of the accident in , I think, the late 1950s became quite famous. The bus was a RT, for anybody interested.
