Has the route of the X39/X40 in Oxford city centre changed? I was on the service last Friday and it stopped near a Tesco Express on the approach to the city centre before turning left, which it doesn't usually go, before the final stop on the service at the side of I think West Gate shopping centre. At which point the driver changed the destination board back to Reading and passengers joined the return working.
Formally I remember a stop by the police station and another by HSBC bank which I used to use. Have these been taken off the route? Does this make any difference to where I can board the service in Oxford city centre on the return working to Reading?
