I am looking for some figures that I can quote on the increases in walk-up rail fares over this history of the privatised railway.

Are there any places that I can find historical data on these fares?

I would also welcome any information that you have on the increase in cost of particular fares.

You might be able to find some things if you use the wayback machine. It's an internet archive, so you can look at the Central Trains website from, say, April 1999 or something. You might not find full fares manuals that way, but you should be able to see special offers and promotions.

Amazon still has 3 copies of regional NFM96's available.
