How far north can one get from London using only local trains?

I saw a great YouTube video a while back where someone tried to get as far north as they could in one day using trains with headcodes that began with 2. If I recall correctly, the person started somewhere south around 6 oclock in the morning on a GWR Turbo and made it all the way into Scotland, finishing the night on ScotRail to Dumfries.
Out of sheer curiosity, I started thinking up other possible long routes that could be done using only 2-prefaced headcodes. I started out with an Anglo-Scottish intercity itinerary starting out of London Kings Cross, and was able to find enough connections to make it as far north as Glasgow Central in one day.

2C04 0627 KGX-Cambridge 0752 Great Northern

2K60 0819 Cambridge-Ely 0837 Greater Anglia

2E72 0859 Ely-Peterborough 0940 Greater Anglia

2K10 1028 Peterborough-Doncaster 1241 EMR

2B70 1327 Doncaster-Leeds 1408 Northern

2H92 1518 Leeds-Carlisle 1800 Northern

2L96 1921 Carlisle-Dumfries 2001 ScotRail

2A15 2049 Dumfries-Glasgow Central 2239 ScotRail

I made this in October 2023 - so times have probably changed and this itinerary may no longer be possible as of the December 2023 timetable change.
Has anyone had ideas for similar itineraries? Starting out of London or not? I like challenge ideas like this; and maybe one day I might even try one.

While keeping within the official connection times at Glasgow Central I reckon you could get to Dalreoch, one station beyond Dumbarton Central, by midnight. (This is only from a quick look.)

Alternatively Gourock using 2G69 (arriving at 2356) - that is on the south side of the Clyde, but the shape of the river means it is slightly further north and a lot further west; overall around six miles further from London (as the crow flies).

*I was hoping one of Northern's Barrow services was a class 2 headcode, but apparently it is not (checking first did not occur to me..) and I couldn't be bothered to backtrack at this point so just kept running with it :D.
