In the recent 2.4. timetable change on Rantarata, the thrice-weekly H train connection to Helsinki now stops at Inkoo station, which had equipment reinstalled over Christmas. There was no announcement of this from VR and only a very small number of news articles on it, but HSL's website has a new map (finally!) with the H train on it and Inkoo (attached). Interestingly, it still has the M and R trains to Nokia, despite the fact they don't run there from 15.4. until 6.8.

Has anyone been there yet? I'm planning to go there next week and I'll pop some photos on here if/when I do.

Yes, Karjaa is missing a long-distance connection icon.

Just been hunting around on Vaunut.org Keskustelu/Resiina to see if there is any mention there...nothing

But I did find this in Kirkkonummen Sanomat: https://www.kirkkonummensanomat.fi/neo/?app=NeoDirect&com=6/159/74407/25fef5b9f6 Seems it reopened yesterday for one train in each direction according to Julia. https://juliadata.fi/timetables?s=Inkoo&d=5.4.20 - but not necessarily every day. I think this is supposed to be 3 in each direction or just 3?

And a bit more searching reveals an announcement of a HUGE success for SFP (Swedish People's Political Party) and their saving of Finnish Railways: https://sfp.fi/fi/artikkelit/wickst...udelleen-liikenteelle-suunnitellaan-kevaaksi/

I don't think anything has changed there, maybe the platform displays have been put back? Don't really venture out that way often. If you do take pictures put them up on vaunut.org

It is weird that there's such little hubbub about it. I only found out about it after someone posted the new map on the Finnish public transport forum (JLF). The platforms have had departure screens and signs working since January, so I kind expected this at some point.

It's served by the H train extensions to Helsinki, which run every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Yes; I must get an account on there at some point...
