Thought it would be interesting to share any blogs whether transport-related or otherwise as well as Twitter people to follow. Or if anyone here wants to give their writing a plug? :)

I'm currently enjoying:

Diamond Geezer - transport, geography and other 'trips' in London and beyond.
http://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/ and also big on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/dgeezer/

London Reconnections - very comprehensive and reliable posts about infrastructure projects in London
http://www.londonreconnections.com/

Merseytart - a chap on a quest to visit every Northern Rail station
http://www.merseytart.com/

Not enjoying: TOC parody accounts on Twitter.

thanks for recording my flickr account full of my hacking attempts at Photography!

For all your semi libelous comments on the state of the railways/underskilled footballers/under educated politicians please have a look at my twitter account:

The Fact Compiler (he of Railway Eye) is still going on Twitter. He can still be interesting, when he's not retweeting the self-styled (and tedious libertarian) "Archbishop Cranmer".

I would give my blog a bump, but I've not written in it for bloody ages. Add it to the list of my new year resolutions.

A few that I like to keep up to date with:

Twitter

@TLFTravelAlerts - Comes up with "innovative" excuses for delays on the London transport network. Not so much a spoof, just comedic. Usually posts a couple of times a day.

@geofftech - the personal Twitter account of Geoff Marshall, previous World Record holder for the Tube Challenge (visiting all stations on the network in the shortest time). Geoff has also produced the "Secrets of the London Underground" series for local online news outlet Londonist - videos can be found on YouTube.

@poggs and @swlines - creators of OpenTrainTimes and RealTimeTrains respectively. Their personal Twitter feeds aren't always related to the day-job, but do tend to contain quite a bit of enthusiast-related content.

Blogs

ASLEF Shrugged - the blog of a TfL Central Line driver. These days he seems to post fewer interesting stories about life on the line than political commentary surrounding the Tube and BoJo's decisions on the network.

Annie Mole's Going Underground - admittedly this hasn't been maintained since June last year, but has a lot of interesting stories on it for those unfamiliar with the blog. More concerned with the social and arty aspects of the Tube, rather than an enthusiast's perspective.
