Hi,

I will soon receive a CIE priv card, but details of the discounts applied in the UK are quite vague. Is it a blanket 75% as if it was a British Priv?

There are also free/discounted rated available on Stena/Irish Ferries - does anyone know the specifics and whether it applies to just foot passengers or vehicles too?

The GB staff travel website shows exactly what priv card holders are entitled to; both at home and overseas. Does the CIE staff travel section not have an equivalent website?

Here's the link to the GB website; though whether that helps you I don' know...

Contact your employer's, CIE, Human Resources department who will inform you of all your travel entitlements.

There are different facilities available depending on which CIE group company you work for.

LOL at the previous replies. Maybe there is some formal documentation given in Irish Rail but on the bus side all I got was the PTI card, dot matrix printed sheet of annual Irish Rail tickets and word of mouth about what was available from other staff.
