Is your local railway station fully accessible to those with reduced mobility? Have you or those you know struggled to use the railways due to accessibility issues? How should the process of making railway stations more accessible be managed and funded?
Next week in Westminster Hall, Dr Matthew Offord – MP for Hendon in north London – is leading a debate on railway station accessibility, with a focus on Mill Hill Broadway Station in his constituency.
He will also discuss Network Rail’s Access for All fund which was extended by the Government as part of its Inclusive Transport Strategy in 2018: £300 million is to be made available for rail accessibility improvements during the period 2019-2024.
