Anyone know whats going on, cancellations for 5 hrs, seems a long time for "emergency services dealing with an incident"
A man is causing severe delays on the London Overground this morning (Monday, June 17) after throwing items onto railway tracks from a roof near Kensington (Olympia) station.
The Metropolitan Police say they were called at 4.21am to reports of the man, who was on a roof in Russell Gardens Mews.
When officers arrived, they found the man had thrown a number of items down onto the railway tracks near Kensington (Olympia) Overground station. The man then climbed a tree, where he remains five hours later."
Causing serious disruption to freight services
Acton Canal Wharf, South Acton, Barnes. Some seem to be bypassing Kenny O. I notice some of the aggregate services to/from Wembley appear to be taking a diversionary route between Wembley & Clapham Junction/Wandsworth Road.
Trying to figure out what route though. Maybe via Kew?

I suspect this is the same customer that has been on roof of Wood Lane station recently and also caused delay on Metropolitan line in St John’s Wood area. Has a taste for delays now
Please fix the font if you're going to copy from a website. 49 already goes from Clapham Junction to White City. Should imagine anyone going from Clapham to Willesden Junction would be quicker going via Richmond on the trainI sometimes think that TFL should run a parallel bus route from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction so when the line gets shut local traffic can be catered for.
Are there two (or more) suspects involved?I suspect he (or she, or they) will be spending some time inside courtesy of His Majesty given what has been going on.
The 295 bus route goes from Clapham Junction to Ladbroke Grove and goes by Shepherds Bush station; if one changes to the 220 at Hammersmith or Shepherds Bush Green, one can get to Willesden Junction. An exact parallel isn't possible. When I worked in Brook Green, it was very much quicker to catch the train from Clapham Junction to Olympia than take the 295, even taking in the ten-minute walk from Olympia.I sometimes think that TFL should run a parallel bus route from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction so when the line gets shut local traffic can be catered for.
6O05 just ran through Olympia using the down line in the up direction. The up line (which is the one closest to the person on the roof) is still shown as blocked though.
If it is the same. That is the plan. And will definitely be what happens when apprehendedI suspect he (or she, or they) will be spending some time inside courtesy of His Majesty given what has been going on.
I see the incident is only causing minor delays nowIt's 21.00 hours and the passenger services are still suspended, according to the TfL website < https://tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/#line-raillo-overground >, so he's presumably still up there.

Tickets are being accepted on London Buses and London Underground services via any reasonable route.

Well it can't be a minor delay if someone has to wait a while but I guess if less trains booked to run, a long wait would have occurred anyway. That may only because the service frequency has reduced, but still an extremely limited number of trains.
They can grammatically mean a single person, unless you've decided it doesn't for ideological reasonsAre there two (or more) suspects involved?
Just seeking clarification! They can grammatically mean a single person, unless you've decided it doesn't for ideological reasons
