Kentish Town station - no Thameslink exit?

Hi all,

Since Kentish Town underground’s make over, the station gates for the Thameslink platforms are permanently locked.

This means having to find a member of TFL staff to open the barriers as the barriers do not except Thameslink tickets.

I’ve asked multiple times if there’s any plans to change this and every staff member has said they don’t know.

Does anyone have any further information?
