Two Twenties (20205/20189) and a Fifty (50008) have recently arrived at Kings Norton (9:45 Wed 19/1)on an intriguing working from Kirkdale Carriage Sidings (Liverpool) on 6Z20. The Twenties were on the front, and the Fifty at the rear of some shiny rolling stock. The twenties are scheduled to go to Derby RTC Serco light at around mid-day. I can't work out what will happen to the 50. Anyone know what this is all about?

When you say 'some shiny rolling stock' I'm assuming you mean two translator vans and a flat wagon?

The whole consist would have been used for the delivery of a 777 unit from Crewe to Kirkdale last night, the 50 and the wagons belong to Hanson & Hall / RailAdventure and the 20s to Michael Owen all being operated under SLC Rail, presumably there are three options as far as the 50 and wagons go, they are either waiting at Kings Norton for a path to Leicester, another trip to Kirkdale or they are to be based there in future, we shall see

Thanks for the reply. I didn't take much notice of the stock, but three vehicles sounds about right. I can confirm the 20's have now left Kings Norton. So, it's watch this space as far as the 50 goes.

Mon a.m.: After a few days resting at Kings Norton, 50008 is now on a day out to Wolvercot Jct. Is this for crew route learning?
