Least disrupted route or station

Just wondering what would be the passenger route or station that's had the least closures due to engineering work. I'm sure there must be a branch line somewhere which has all it's engineering work done on a Sunday, when it doesn't operate anyway.
Any thoughts?

I believe the Elizabeth Line has the highest % of services arriving on time (by line, rather than by operator, though possibly by operator also).

The parliamentary between Stockport and Stalybridge must be up there - it only needs to be open 1 day a week.

I cannot immediately think of a branchline down here that does not operate on a Sunday.

North London or Mildmay line
It might well be the Felixstowe line as it is completely barred from full weekend closures because of the volume of freight traffic. Barking to Woodgrange Park is another (it’s the only way out of Thamesside for freights) but is often closed on a Sunday.

It needs to be open for freight every day.

Marston Vale currently.
Since this thread was about passenger trains it is only one day. But yes, they cannot just close the line on other days.

Marston Vale raises an interesting point since the line had no passenger services, but not due to engineering. Therefore if maintenance was done during the time there was no passenger trains, it would be a long time since passenger trains on the Marston Vale were disrupted for engineering.

Depending on where exactly "down here" is (= South Wales or maybe Southern England?) Bromley North / Grove Park doesn't have any service on a Sunday, other than just after midnight on a Saturday. So, does all the maintenance get done on Sundays?

Down near Swansea. South Wales is pretty much always disrupted with the upgrades of the Valley Lines.

They have been working on both routes out of Swansea recently, but as I do not travel on weekends I cannot remember whether that covered Saturdays and Sundays at any point. Certainly they had Port Talbot drop off closed for a few weeks to allow the rail replacement buses.

That's more about on the day disruption though, engineering cancellations/retimetabling will be done through timetable changes so I don't think would show up there

According to ORR's most recent statistics for Period 11 (most of January), the stations with the most reliable service were Buckenham, Lelant Saltings and Stourbridge Town, with no services cancelled and all running within 3 minutes of schedule.

They have frequent closures or service reductions for engineering works on the weekends though.

It seems to be the culture in the London/South-East region for closures/drastic reductions of service during the weekends, sadly. Especially compared to up north.

The HS1 route must be up there.

Because it is so intensively used Monday - Friday.
