A train on the Welshpool & Llanfair railway was struck by a car on a level crossing at Cyfronydd today.

A heritage railway train carrying 77 passengers collided with a car on a level crossing in Mid Wales.

It says that significant damage was caused to the loco, but luckily it looks pretty superficial in the photo.

Usual accuracy on railway matters from the media . The loco is actually called “Countess” not Countless!
