I have the return portion of an SSR London Terminals to Market Rasen.
Lincoln is an appropriate Routeing Point.

I want to resume a Break of Journey at Lincoln, and take the latest available departure to King's Cross on Saturday night.

When searching for LCN to KGX on NRE shows the last itinerary via Newark Northgate as departing Lincoln at 19:23 and taking 2h06. However there is a later itinerary shown via Retford that departs Lincoln at 19:44 and takes 2h44. There is no notice saying that this requires 2 tickets.

Mapped routes are ER, EE+WA and EE, and none of them contain a line from Lincoln to Retford, however the maps that the booking engines use do contain such a link on EE and ER.

What's odd though is that when searching NRE for Market Rasen to London, specifying via Retford, to get an itinerary for the stations printed on my ticket, this route is now shown as requiring 2 tickets on the same itinerary with a train from Market Rasen to Lincoln tacked on the front! I don't understand what's going on here, given that Lincoln is the appropriate Routeing Point in both cases.

Can anyone shed any liht on what NRE is up to, and also if there's any way I can travel via Retford? (I'm guessing not)

This might be relevant?
Easement 102 said:
(1) Journeys from Lincoln and Saxilby to London made on tickets routed
Any Permitted may not go via Retford. (2) Journeys from Lincoln and
Saxilby to London made on tickets routed Retford may also use routes
allowed by permitted routes which do not pass Retford. (3) Journeys from
Market Rasen, Metheringham and Hykeham to London may not go via
Retford. (4) Journeys from Lincoln, Saxilby, Market Rasen, Metheringham
and Hykeham to stations beyond London may not go via Retford. All this
applies in both directions.

As to why NRE is allowing it for Lincoln but not Market Rasen I don't know. I would say that it looks a perfectly reasonable route, but I don't know how guards would feel about it (I know there's much wailing and gnashing of teeth on MML vs ECML routeings, for instance Grantham/Nottingham).

Why do I always forget to check the negative easements?

It appears that Easement 102 (3) is being implemented by NRE, but 102 (1) is not.

To clarify, the itinerary is taking the ECML from Retford
