Live moving trains on Google Earth/Maps?

Don't know so much about that, but i had the maps facility (possibly Google) running on my phone earlier and it had the location marker moving along as the train travelled.

That will probably be your phone's inbuilt GPS displaying your location rather then that of the train

Quite - whilst Google is able to display timetable information for some public transport networks, I have never seen it track a train in realtime without some sort of add-on or layer.

If you use four square, the app will track you on the train as you whizz through the many stations if you are on an express train!
