I applied for the above post and I really want the job. I got asked to do a video interview which I’ve done and sent but I’ve not heard anything back for a week and the closing date isn’t until 31st March. Does anyone know how long you’re usually waiting to hear back from the video interview? Also, it puzzles me why I would get asked to do a video interview already when the closing date isn’t until the end of the month. Tia

The video interview is standard practice for most LNER roles now. I did my driver one before the closing date also.
I think it's an extra sifting stage. I would expect to wait a while longer yet until you hear back from the video interview.

Hi there! I applied in early December for mine, and a week later I received an invite for a video interview. I can't advise re: closing dates, as mine was posted as a rolling date, although I was sent my invitation to assessment in early January just less than a month after I applied, and got the assessment and medical done by the middle of February and I'm starting next month. All the best with your application

You should hear a week or so after closing date for role. Im currently in process for Station Customer service role with LNER. Did my video intervieq then shortly after closing date got invited for psychometrics (your role might not have these) then once passed got offered interview/assessment day (which is what im waiting for now) any info on what to expect for this?
