The BR Mark 1 carriage available as a holiday let on the banks of Loch Awe in Scotland won’t be available after this current season. The website says ‘our final season as the lease is ending’.
Does anyone know if they mean the lease on the carriage, the land, or both? Will the carriage be removed, and how?
It’s a BR mark 1 no. 4494 and it’s been there since the 1980’s, initially a cafe and now a holiday let.
Don’t worry, this isn’t an advert. I have no links with the carriage and it’s pretty much booked up anyway.
