Lochalsh Choppers - 21 June to 23 June

SRPS Railtours have published the following timings for their Lochalsh Choppers Railtour from 21 June to 23 June which will feature a pair of class 20s running to the Kyle of Lochalsh and back:

Day 1 Crewe to Inverness -
Crewe 08:23, Preston 09:13, Lancaster 09:32, Carlisle 10:41, Greenfaulds 13:37, Inverness 19:09

Day 2 Inverness to Kyle and return -
Inverness 08:39, Plockton 11:31, Kyle of Lochalsh 11:50
Kyle of Lochalsh 13:54, Plockton 14:07, Inverness 17:12

Day 3 Inverness to Crewe -
Inverness 07:15, Greenfaulds 15:23, Carlisle 18:17, Lancaster 20:03, Preston 20:27, Crewe 21:21

I must admit, I was hoping for one of the 90s north and the other one south just because I need them both (at least I need them as far as my current records go) but you will never find me complaining about a bash behind an 87. Absolute staples of my childhood living on the WCML!

I've seen 118/132 reported to be the sticky digits for the 20s.

Whatever the numbers on the locos, it is sure to be a great weekend!
