I do this journey pretty regularly and usually manage to get reasonable fares - around £15-£18 standard one way or if I push the boat out £43 first. Normally I can book a way in advance. Now I need to travel up on April 6th and back on the 11th and the fares seem pretty steep. Any advice on reducing this would be welcome by means of splits or funny routings. Time wise I am pretty flexible but can't make the early one off Euston 5.39
