Is it even possible to specify what zones you want to travel to on the TFL sites? I want to travel to central London but have a Zone 2 ticket. ATM I have to enter the individual sections of the journey which is a pain in the behind. Wish I would see the whole route at once!

East Croydon - Vauxhall via Clapham then a bus into central London. I know my journey its just annoying I have to enter separate routes.

Unfortunately if I enter East Croydon - London via Vauxhall the TFL site takes me to Waterloo.

Because thats the quickest route I would imagine.

Have you selected using only tube and bus on the check boxes?

I had a similar issue planning a route lately.

Try routing via a specific bus stop that is not right next to the station

Ah thanks. I put in the next bus stop along the route into Via and it worked.

I'd guess "avoiding Zone 1 apart from if it's on a bus" is an awkward thing to programme for, especially if the destination is in Z1!
