There will be an open day at Long Marston on the 9th of June. Features and attractions are as follows.
Access to the site will be via the side entrance near the loco shed, we will signpost on the day. Parking will be primarily to the left of the entrance gate (carpark attendant will be on duty). The railway platform is being constructed here too. It is turn up on the day, no advance bookings required. However, there will be an entrance charge as we are holding this to raise funds for charities (The Railway Children and a local Wildlife Sanctuary). Entrance fee will be £5 for adults and £2.50 for children this includes a ticket to ride the train which will circuit at slow speed around the 'loop'
