Thought I'd share some pics and a video I took of the short commuter hop from Luzianky to Nitra in Eastern Slovakia.
Nitra is a town about an hour's drive to the East of Bratislava.
Luzianky is a village that is between Bratislava and a main interchange at Leopoldov.
Suburban trains run about every hour between Nitra and Luzianky and tickets are bought on board.
Many of the stops have no platforms so passengers have to step up to the train.
This is the train pulling into Nitra

Ticket for 2 euros 16. That was for 4 adults including a concessionary. I think costing is done by the kilometre

Staying next to the railway line meant that I saw and felt a lot of the traffic coming through Luzianky.
The station car park is free for use and is mostly used by people visiting the village pub!
