Has anybody ever been to the Lytham St. Anne's music festival?

Hoping to go this year to see Simple Minds and Texas on 6th July 2025.

Was wondering if the private garden tickets are worth the extra £100? Seems so much more than ordinary standing tickets.

Anybody able to offer advice please?

Been a few times to see Chic and, more recently, Madness. Got a 5 day pass this year!

A garden ticket gets you into a nicer area that has a better bar with no queues and draught beers vs. Cans in the main area, and nicer toilets (not portaloos). Doesn't guarantee a spot at the front, the garden area covers half the stage and the ordinary area the other half of the stage.

All in all you'll have a better experience in the garden area, it's up to you to determine if its worth the extra £100.

Went a few years ago. Didn’t know about the private garden tickets. Was right at the front, and compared to other festivals rather relaxed, plenty of space. Not sure if things have changed.

£100 extra sounds expenisve IMO.

You get posh flushable loos, and access to the area right at the front of the stage, apparently! No doubt these premium priced tickets are perhaps aimed at those for whom money is no object.
