Here's a few photos of The Great Gathering at the NRM York to celebrate Mallard's 75th Anniversary of achieving 126mph on July 3rd 1938.
These photos were taken on Monday afternoon between 4-5:30pm, it was impossible to take any photos before that due to the volume of visitors!
AS you can see from the turntable shot taken at 11am how many people turned up and they had only been open an hour!
I was told over 14,500 people visited on Saturday alone!
Top job and well done to the guys who transformed 60008 & 4489, what a super cosmetic job!
