Man sings all tube station names

Not sure if this has been posted, but it has just popped up on Metro

If you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like for someone to sing the name of every single Tube station; then wonder no more.

Artist Jay Foreman has managed to recite all the London Underground stations, although we’re not exactly sure the result is that musically appealing.

The singer-songwriter simply says the destinations, including Kennington, Tottenham Hale and Oxford Circus, without really making a tune.

The sometime-comedian does play guitar, and the visuals, shot by record-breaking Tube station hopper Geoff Marshall, are interesting.

I bought his CD when it first came out, and actually corrected him on Twitter when he'd got a few wrong. Not expecting a reply, even, I was very surprised when he responded by thanking me and telling me it'd be fixed for the YouTube version (as it certainly is!). Great guy.

I have memorised this song.

I think he should have said the repeated station names twice. There are two stations called Hammersmith, Edgware Road and Paddington. Therefore his list is only 267 long when there are 270 stations.

And he copped out of saying the full names of each Heathrow station.
