From the an earlier thread I made I was told that the HAA MGR wagon has a brake force of 10t in both tare and loaded configuration. So when loaded the wagons have pretty poor braking performance. I've noticed that there were several types of MGR wagons developed (HAA,HBA,HCA etc) that have different maximum speeds for tare and loaded configuration. For example, the HDA wagon can travel at 60mph when fully loaded, were the brakes improved to achieve this or are they still as poorly braked?

Also I stumbled upon different types of wagons such as the HEA,HBA and HSA open mineral wagons that were used on the Tees Valley Line (among other lines I presume). They look strikingly similar to the MGR wagons but from what I've read they were developed later. Could it be presumed that they have similar braking performance or do they use different equipment? My reason for asking this particular question is that I'm on a "fact checking" mission in the simulator TSW which has these sorts of wagons (HEA) but their braking performance is very good, which made me skeptical to the realism (in this area, I know several realism errors in other areas, don't worry haha).
