Yes that was my observation (I was there on Saturday from about 11.00 until 14.00). There appeared to be more trade stands than layouts.

Yeah I was there 13:00 until the end, although I did chat to some people I know at a trade stall for ages and had a break in the middle and went around filming again.

Looking to go to Abingdon this weekend (2nd/3rd March 2024).

...went to Abingdon today and spent nigh on 4 hours wondering around - a really good range of layouts, and busy, but not so bad that you couldn't get right in to see the layouts up close - so much nicer than something like Milton Keynes which was Uber rammed.

Some excellent stuff - particularly enjoyed Baijao (industrial China, not only for the train length and the sound), Norge (how do they do the moving chickens?!) - but generally some super layouts, and always some great attention to detail. Very much recommended.
