Wasn't sure which section to put this in, as it covers model and photos too. I went to a local show to test out the theory and technique to do 'focus stacking' and process with software. For those not aware, one of the limitations when photographing model railways is you get a very poor depth of field, so it is obvious that what you've photographed isn't full scale, as only the front bogie is in focus. Focus stacking involves taking the same shot (on tripod) at different focal points and then whacking them all together in software to make a final image with greatly enhanced depth of field.
