Ay up all,
I've progressed to the stage of having psychometrics with Irish Rail for the Signaller role at the NTCC near Heuston. I know broadly what to expect from psychometrics as I've sat them in the past. I work in an Ops role on the railway in GB, but I understand that it is a completely different country with a totally different rule book and so I'll need to throw a lot of what I know out the window. Mostly just curious if anyone else has made the transition from GB to the ROI, did your previous railway experience help or hinder and was it a positive change that's been worth it for you? If anyone knows a bit more about working conditions and what IÉ are like as well it would be a great help.
TIA.
