I rmemebr reading about these land cruises in a railway magazine in 1982! At the same time the Ffestiniog reahced Blaenau, which was the main reason I bought the mag! I;ve still got it somewhere, but goodness knows how far back it is in the top of the wardrobe now!

As a youngster, I was often taken on the Rhyl back to Rhyl cruise.
