Hello,

First I would like to say I apologize for my first post here being questions, but I am itching to get started on this simulator...

I've never played a train simulator before, and my pc is only 1.6ghz, so I'm not sure if I will even be able to run openbve, and I also need some help getting started. I've downloaded a bakerloo map with an included train from "trainsimstuff.org" and have no idea how to install it. I am assuming openbve does not come with any routes or trains, since I cannot start a game with it, so I guess I have to install a map and train.

Thank you for your time :)

OpenBVE runs on my 1.6GHz Linux netbook w/ half a gig of RAM okay, just trim down your desktop to save resources, take the viewing distance and details down too. Some trains and routes will be more detailed than others, so it's not a one-size-fits-all levels for settings.

Folder structure for game data should look like:
LegacyContent
- Train
- - all your trains, they don't care where they sit
- Railway
- - Route
- - - the CSV/RW files for each route
- - Object
- - - directories that each route uses, these usually cross-over and get messy
- - Sound
- - - directories that each route uses, these are usually cleaner than Objects

You'll probably find that most routes will unzip into the above structure.
